I qualified in 1987 as a Registered General Nurse / Registered Sick Children’s Nurse. Following this I worked on various Paediatric Wards. From 1994 I worked as a Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner before specialising in Cystic Fibrosis in 1997. I originally worked at Sheffield Children’s Hospital until becoming permanent at the Northern General Hospital. I have completed a degree in Psychology and have an interest in transition from paediatric to adult services. I am due to qualify as a non medical prescriber in the summer of 2015.
