Ian Smith
Ian is the lead physiologist of the Respiratory Function Unit at the Sheffield Pulmonary Vascular Disease Unit. He has over 10 years experience of performing and reporting a wide range of pulmonary function and sleep physiology tests. He also has over 8 years experience of working with patients with Pulmonary Hypertension.
His role is to ensure all tests within respiratory function are performed as safely and efficiently as possible ensuring accuracy of results is maintained.
Ian is currently undertaking a Masters level degree in Healthcare Science, furthering his knowledge of Respiratory Medicine and developing skills in research.
