New study to identify and develop tools to support peer mentoring in Cystic Fibrosis 10th June 2019
Dr Zhe Hui Hoo has just begun a study to help understand the barriers to adherance to medication regimes the people with Cystic Fibrosis experience and identify strategies to overcome these. The aim will be to aid the development of peer mentoring to match mentees with mentors and produce of a suite of potential strategies that can be adopted by peer mentors to support mentees.
Dr Hoo will be using a series of questionnaires to learn from people with CF, interventionists who work with people with CF in the ACtiF trial and from health psychologists who work in other disease areas.
